Company History

anima was founded in 2002 by Steffen Becker and Philipp Schreiber after working in the fields of product design, interface design and design ethnography.

Because of the international careers of the founders, our projects have been international since the very beginning, continuously adding to our awareness of global trends and cultural differences.

anima collaborates with Instrata Ltd., a Cambridge (UK) based consultancy. The collaboration consists of cooperation on international research projects and the exchange of country- and topic specific expertise.
